It has come to my attention that we have not had a contest

for quite a while. So I am introducing a new contest,

though it is a little bit late: Nightmare

Night/Halloween/Day of the Dead Pony Contest! Yes, I

debated on Christmas, because it is farther off, but my

love of Halloween restrained me.

Because Halloween is in a mere week and a half, this

contest will actually end November ninth at midnight,

voting starting the tenth. This will give everyone about

three weeks to come up with an idea, which I hope will be

ample time. After all, we don't stop eating our candy after

Halloween, do we?


RULES
-Pony creators are not allowed.
-Bases are allowed, but only in body; this would be because
designs involve hair style as well as colors.
-Species are all forms of pony, including made-up ones,
species from other generations, and rare species (alicorns,
bat ponies). Pony shaped species such as zebra and donkeys
are allowed as well. And because this contest is on
deviantART, llamas.
-You may submit multiple ponies, but only one may win.
You may submit twins and count it as one, but only
if the ponies have similar designs and features (identical
twins).
-It must be new art, and a character created for the
contest.
-The ponies may be adoptables OR OCs you may keep for
yourself (adoptables you've adopted from yourself, if you
prefer to say.)
-Submit to the "Holiday Pony Contest" folder


If you have anything on who the pony is supposed to be,
do include it. Also make sure that it relates to Nightmare
Night/Halloween/Day of the Dead!


And onto you favorite part: prizes. And if you haven't read
the rules, go on, git! Read 'em or weep.
The prizes will not be listed until the 31st, but I can
give you some input on what they will be. They will be
points, going into the hundreds, the lowest prize being
100, although I have not chosen yet which the higher prizes
will be, and also will include requests from artists such
as myself. There will also be a feature for the winner's
adoptables in the featured folder!


If you wish to not enter the contest but instead contribute
requests to the winners, note Otterlore.
If you wish to donate points for the contest, donate to me
(Otterlore). There will be a point countdown on the
donation box for the contest, listing the total points
donated (donations over 50 will get a small feature on my page,
and donators of 100+ points will receive one feature adoptable in
this groups feature folder until Nov. 10).
