So people are wondering why Celestia is the element of Patience when she was the one who carried the element of Love for so long. The truth is that all ponies exhibit all elements to some degree. Certain ponies are capable of representing several elements becuase of their strong innate affinity. It shouldn't surprise anyone that Celestia is such a pony.
