Major is the Alicorn of Military Might. A few hundred years ago, he chose to leave Equestria to travel the world, offering his strategic services to countries and nations all around the world.
Major has never met his father, as he died before he was born. Major and his mother were always close, but she worried about his future.
Returning to Equestria, Major had no idea of his mother's ascension, nor was he aware of the throne that was rightfully his being given to someone else.
