I found some sketches laying around and put them together (can you tell not all of these were drawn at the same time?)
This is Dulce de Leche or Dulcie as most call him. He is the son of Red Velvet and Petit Choux. Why did I make him? Because Petit and Velvet are my comfort characters to draw and so therefore they deserved a child or two for me to get attached to aswell.
Here is the first pic I made of him:
I tweaked his colors just a teensy bit.
1, So here is all grown up. I haven't thought of a cutiemark yet but he doesn't get it until he's in his late teens. Something that always made him feel very insecure among his peers. While still trying to figure himself out he got himself a bunch of tattoos and started rebelling against his parents, good times.
He's not nearly as big or strong as his mom but he is quite a bit taller then your average stallion.
2, He has had some ups and downs in school. He had a hard time concentrating in class and would have a bunch of extra energy he didn't quite know how to deal with which often caused him to get into trouble with the teachers. He also had a hard time outside of the classroom because of a few bad apples in his class. His parents have been a "controversial" topic to certain ponies in Ponyville and so he used to get teased for it by some of his classmates. Dulcie would take great offense and would get in fights constantly.
Here he was sent home after a particurlarly bad fight and refuses to even look at his dad. Even though he loves his parents he did blame them a little bit for other foals being mean to him, especially his dad.
3, Older, taller Dulcie. He messes with Petit constantly. Here he asked for money to go to a concert and just as his dad started his rant about how he needs to earn money he picked him up and bobbed him up and down like a puppet.
Dulcie: "'Of course Dulcie! Here take my whooooole wallet!' Gee thanks papa I will spend it wisely"
4, Dulcie admires admires his mom. He still looks at her like she's a superhero sometimes. He's tried working out together with her only to realise that body building takes some fucking work and he ain't got patience for that. They still do work out sometimes together as a bonding thing.
5, In his teens Dulcie got into a rebelious phase were he started dissobeying his parents more. He would complain about how lame and overbearing they were to his friends, but as soon as someone else commented on his parents he would get defensive immedietly. They may be lame but they're his lame parents dang-it!
6, Velvet and Petit has always been a bit of an odd couple to other ponies who meet them. What pushed every gossiping pony over the edge was when Petit was the one to carry their first child.
Red Velvet did unexpectedly get pregnant before hand but suffered a miscarriage early mid through her pregnancy. Even though they hadn't planned to be parents yet they had quickly warmed up to the idea and were devestated by this. They discussed trying again many times but Velvet allways felt a bit put off by it, afraid she would miscarrige again. So eventually Petit offered to be the carrier instead. Velvet was taken aback that they even had that as an option and hesitantly agreed after making sure that he really wanted to do it.
So Petit got an expensive spell ordered and magicked himself into a mare (something he'd wanted to try for a long time anyway) for the entirety of the pregnancy.
Some ponies around them however had problems with this as those kinds of spells were seen as being reserved to same sex couples. Using spells to concieve when you didn't need to was highly frowned upon by certain ponies. Some of their family members had a hard time understanding at first. Scarlet and Rarity especially, wondering if Petit had been trans this entire time not quite fathoming why he would be doing it otherwise.
