Astral is a combination of two chaotic powerhouses, and as silly as them both — his powers overwhelm him at times, but Legacy won't hear of finding another court magician, and he'd certainly never find one with as impressive as a resume as Astral. He studied under the best in attempts to control his magic — Twilight, Celestia, he even attended the selective Starswirl academy before settling on Discord as his tutor.
Fun fact: While Astral and Lasting Legacy are rather close brothers, the two have a 20 year age gap!
