I remember seeing the Applejack and Discord scene of The Return of Harmony waiting to go to a doctor's appointment all those years ago, but I didn't start watching the show somewhat consistently until season 3. Therefore The Crystal Empire 2 parter is what I consider my official first episodes.
Funnily enough, Sombra didn't become my favorite character until much later.
