Princess Dawn Star and Athena have been inseparable since practically birth. The daughters of the Elements of Magic and Kindness respectively (as well as, ya know, saviors of Equestria. And an actual Princess, and wife of Canterlot's Royal Adviser), the unbreakable bond their mothers have sort of trickled down to these two. Dawn and Athena have forged their friendship over their many adventures, their future roles, and their imperfect, finicky magic.


These girls have each other's backs, no matter what — be it reassurances over a certain exam, or a speech that has to blow the tails off everycreature, or encouraging the other to get some much needed-sleep and self-care, or gentle reprimands for ignoring such in favor of doing creature else a favor (and favors can pile up real quick when you just love doing them so much).Despite all of the ups and downs these two go through, they know they can each fall back on the knowledge that they are pals for life. No matter what happens, no matter what they will face when it is up to them to help preserve the magic of friendship for their amazing kingdom…even if their own respective magic needs a little working-on.


Despite such, there is never judgement between the two, and they know that one day, they get it all figured out. And if not, it will be an adventure anyways!
