Applejack pleaded with the police, telling them that it all was a misunderstanding. Officer Misty Fly and Deputy Sheriff Copper were not buying into it and demanded her to get closer, with the hands behind her head, and to come out of the water, walking into the sand. Applejack started to say that she was not able to walk when Pinkie Pie screamed that she was the owner of the scooter and searched into her poofy hair to pull out her ID and the circulation card that certified that the scooter and the plates were hers, and that she was the owner. Pinkie Pie started to very slowly approach the pier, telling the police that please, they hold while she showed the IDs, and that she was going to climb the pier to show them said documentation. They let Pinkie come closer, but Misty Fly kept the suspect AJ on sight. AJ knew that it was better not to say anything unless told to. She was trying to hold her tears. She only could hope that Pinkie could defuse the situation and a thought crossed her head… What if Pinkie, just to try to prove a point, converted the policewomen into mermaids too? They would certainly believe their predicament now if they had their own tails, but there was no way they could keep two representatives of authority hidden. That would mean that they will be discovered, captured and certainly experimented upon or worse…

Applejack could only wait and hope that Pinkie Pie used common sense and acted like a normal person when talking to the police…
