Genette came out of the dressing room carrying with her a cheerleader outfit. It matches the one Sunfyre was wearing but in the size of a Griffon, a male Griffon to be more exact.

"Here you go Gareth. Try them on." Gareth's eyes sparkled as Genette handed him the outfit.

"Ooooh, I can't wait to try them on." He quickly makes his way into the dressing room. A short minute later he came out all dressed in the cheerleader outfit.

"They fit perfectly Jen. I must inform Winter Haven she did a great job." Gareth's attention turns over to Sunfyre. "So Sunny, how do I look?"

Sunfyre darts his sight away from Gareth and says, "You look…adequately nice." Gareth chuckles. "Somecreature's blushing I see."

"N-no I'm not!", argues Sunfyre. Genette intervenes. "Okay boys, settle down. Now I need for you both to please give me back the get-ups."

"What?! But Sunfyre got to wear his much longer than me.", complains a dejected Gareth.

"And you can wear yours longer after we pass the Hoofington Friendship School's Powderpuff Hoofball Cheerleader Outfit Design selection.", Genette says. Gareth pouts. "Okay okay. You win.", he says.

"Here you go Jen.", Sunfyre said as he and Gareth took off the outfits. "I'll go and set these on." Before she could finish Genette hears someone knocking on the door. "Hm? Who could it be?" She makes her way to the door and sees a mail-carrier Pony.

As Genette speaks to them and receives a letter Gareth & Sunfyre spoke to one another.

"This is really exciting. If Genette's outfits pass, we can wear ours as long as we can."

Sunfyre just looks at him. "You do realize you can't wear them 24/7 right?"

"Sigh, you can be a spoilsport sometimes Sunny."

"I live to please & dissap."

"SQUAAAAAAWK!!!!"

Gareth & Sunfyre's ears both shot up. "Whoa. What in the hay was that?", Sunfyre asked.

"Hmm…from what I can tell, it was the squawking sound of a songbird griffon receiving bad news of major importance and now going into a nervous breakdown." Sunfyre looks at Gareth with a look that reads 'WTF'. Gareth continues. "Hey, when you grow up in a city populated by about 80% Griffons, you can learn what squawks they make from time to time.

"Nononononono! T-this can't be happening. This can't be happening!" The pair made they're way to Genette as she had a look of shock & disbelief on her face.

"Uh Jen, what's wrong." Sunfyre asks. "What's wrong? What's wrong! A lot is wrong!" Sunfyre was shocked to hear Genette yelling at him. Gareth saw the letter on the floor. He picks it up and loks it over. "Oh dear…"

"What's up Gareth?", Sunfyre asks him. Greth looks at him and responds. "Well if I'm reading this letter right, it seems that the members of the Hoofington Friendship School who was going to judge the cheerleader outfits for the Powderpuff Hoofball Cheer Team had gotten call to an emergency conference and due to the tie-up have moved the selection to today."

"Not just today…in 2 hours. 2 hours! Not next week like it was originally going to be. 2 hours! T-that's not enough time to plan a routine for the demonstration, not enough time to get coordinated…and I'm still down at least one more member!", Genette says yelling nervously. "What am I going to do? What am I going to do? What am I going to do?", she keeps saying it over and over again.

"Wow. I never seen Genette this upset before.", Gareth says.

"I have. Unfortuntely.", Sunfyre says as Gareth looks at him. Sunny continues. "Back when I was a foal & Genette a fledgling we attended the same ballet class. Our class was doing seperate dance recitals. I had completed mine and my sister Wyldfyre as well. Genette was going to do one with a partner. However, her partner panicked at the sight of the large crowd and ran back, leaving Jen on stage alone. I was offstage and saw her there frozen like a deer in headlights. I couldn't stand idly by as she was starting to break down. I notice the outfit she was wearing, so I snatched up a spare leotard and tutu and joined Genette on stage. I memorized the routine she was going to perform but my ultimate goal was to make Jen feel relaxed and calm. She giggled at me for wearing the outfit but she was thankful I stepped in in her time of need. We became dance partners after that."

Gareth had tears in his eyes. "That…was beautiful Sunny. We should do that in the future." Sunfyre just looks at him. "But…how can we help Jen? We need to be at the school in 2 hours, but there's not enough time to get a demo routine made."

"Hmm…I got it!" Sunfyre whispers into Gareth's left ear. The griffon's ears shot up and his eyes grew wide somewhat. "You sure he can help?"

"He's the only option we got.", Sunfyre says.

"Well if you think he can help, then I'm behind you 100% Sunny." The pair do a fist/claw/hoof bump and approached the distraught Genette.

"Genette, calm down. Everything's going to be okay.", Sunfyre says. Gareth adds, "Believe it or not, Sunny has a good plan to work this out."

Genette was able to calm herself enough to listen to them. "So get the cheerleader outfits ready. We're heading for the school. But first we need to stop over by the Baker's Dozen.", Sunfyre says.

"The Baker's Dozen Bakery? B-but why there?", Genette asks despite still feeling hysteria.

Sunfyre & Gareth looked at each other and smiled. The pair together said, "To pick up our third team member." Genette was now not only going through hysteria, but she as also super confused.

Artist's Tidbit: There wasn't much for me to say about this, but I've been whacking my brain on wanting to try something new for Sunfyre & Gareth. I wanted to do Sunny's wings in a different perspective as well as Gareth's claws and not have them be as generic as they can be in my style. I also didn't expect to make Sunfyre's pose be like that, but it turned out well. Overall I have no complaints…except me stll laking in BG design. Perhaps in Pt. 3 I'll make one. Also…I left off the cheerleader outfits in this one as I plan to work on having my 2 boys sport them in a seperate pi in the near future.
