Firework is a young unicorn mare who was born in Vanhoover into a family of very successful show ponies. She grew up learning about the importance of show biz, along with her two brothers. She got her cutie mark by messing around with fireworks by using her magic by turning them into special shapes for a show celebrating the begining of Celestia and Luna's rule, like Celestia's and Luna's cutie mark, them defeating discord, and what not. When she graduated from college with a degree in Show busniss and a degree in fireoligy, she quickly began putting on shows for other ponies.

Some compare her to Trixie, just because they are both unicorns, both have blue coats, and both are Showponies. However, Firework is just a showpony for fun and well-being of others, not for fame. She currently is producing a firework show for orphaned fillies in Los Pegasus.
