Hello!
I know, that probably all of you already noticed how COVID-19 pandemia affects our lives. Some of you stay at home, some of you are fighting to give others proper care. There is also something you can do to prevent this virus from spreading:
1. Wash your hands with soap or 70% alcohol – based hand rub, it will destroy the virus, that may be on your hands. By washing your hands you will also protect the other house members too.
2. „Cough and sneezes spread diseases” — Try to cough in some tissue or your elbow. Cover your nose and mouth when you are sneezing. And remember to put waste tissue into trash can!
3. I read that people touch face 23 times per HOUR, that is over 300 times during the day! The best way to stay safe is not to touch your mouth, nose or eyes with your hands. Our hands touch many things during the day, and if you are not able to wash them instantly, remember that that way you can transfer bacteria and viruses to your eyes, nose or mouth. Those three elements of your body are perfect for virus to enter.
4. Maintain at least 2 meter (6 feet) distance between yourself and anyone else, if possible, even more. You’ll never know is this person is sick or not, even if one feels well, can still be contagious. Keeping right distance will help you stay safe if suddenly someone will sneeze or cough next to you.
5. And the last in my opinion – most important — stay at home. Do not go outside if you don’t need to. Try to work from your home, if possible. I know how hard is the situation in hospitals and the best way to help is to stay at home, and prevent the virus from spreading even more.
In the first week of my country lockdown, I was OK with that, but after 2 weeks of staying at home… I see how this affect my behaviour. Please, do something creative, do something nice for yourself or for others. Keep your thoughts positive!
Share in comments, what activities you have to do to make all the bad thoughts to go away.
And please, take care of yourself.
Think about all family members who stay at home alone, call them, show that they are not alone completely. Help them keep their positive thoughts.
In these times anyone can be someone's hero.
