Serious, determinate, responsible, yet stubborn and suffering from resting bitch face syndrome, Indigo is the only daughter of the company CEO Obsidian, a very strict and stoic bat pony stallion that owns a very successful mining/gemstone company. Her mother was a kind and frail unicorn pianist, who unfortunately passed away when Indigo was very young, and for her dismay, her father wasn't the most warm and kind parental figure. Indigo was raised mostly by servants and babysitters hired by her father, while he kept himself distant, being too busy running his own company to spend time with his daughter. That being said, she doesn't have the best of relationship with her father. To be honest, Obsidian never made spare time for his family, even when Opal was still alive, and Indigo resents him very much for practically letting her mother die alone.
Indigo was taught etiquette and had lessons of administration and law ever since her early teens, and had been raised to be a proper successful heir to the company. As one of her mothers last wishes and encouragement, Indigo wanted to pursue her own dreams and aspirations, which her father was clearly against, leading her to run away from home at a young age. To sustain herself, Indigo had to work in multiple part time jobs, and has the habit of overworking herself. She has her eyes set on her goals and never gives up until she archieves them, even if it means exhausting herself to the point of collapse.
Although it may not seem like it, Indigo has a bunch of simple hobbies, like walks at the beach, making dreamcatchers, sunbathing, watching the sunset, stargazing, astrology, gemstones and zodiac signs. She's often too busy to properly enjoy them.


- She's half bat pony, thus why she has extra fluff and her pupils can shift to slit shaped depending on her mood. She also has very nice night vision. Even so she didn't inherit neither her father's wings or her mother's unicorn horn.

- She resembles her father much more than her mother and she resents that.
