Applejack swims towards the pier, to get closer to both Sunset and Pinkie.

"Well, Ah certainly am glad that we will not get canned into the jail. Thanks Pinks!
Pinkie squees and winks to her cousin.

"How do you feel, Applejack? How different is to… you know…" started Sunset, looking at the blonde mermaid. She crosses her legs and leans forward in attention to her friend.
"Be a mermaid? completed Applejack. "Well… not extremely different from being a human, honestly. Ah feel kinda stronger and more aware of mah surroundings and mah eyesight improved, both in the water and outside of it. What bothers me a tiny bit is the sunlight, it feels a bit hotter and with more intensity in mah skin." Applejack bobs a bit in the water and squirms a bit "Oh, and the fact that mah legs are now fused together and that I still have the ghost sensation of trying to move my thighs, knees and feet, but that sensation is becoming fainter and fainter by the minute!"
Sunset nods and smiles, pondering the situation.

"Also, the embarrassing feeling of being completely exposed from the waist down. Yeah, that bothers me a bit. Mah clothes dissolved, but at least the magic was kind enough to leave me with this thing" Applejack points at her seashell bra.
"Everything from the waist down — ah mean everything — is now pointin' frontwards instead of downwards, fortunately covered by scales…"
Sunset blushes a bit.
"Awwww, you ruined the surprise. I wanted to show Sunset, first-hand…" Pinkie said, biting her lower lip, and turning towards Sunset, who is now blushing with intensity.

The awkward moment is interrupted by Fluttershy who emerges from the water and breathes out some water.
"Hi girls! How have you been?" She inhales some air, she notices that as long as her earfins and gills are wet, she can breathe. After all, people and fishes alike breathe oxygen, it is only the interface that change. She needed the water in the earfins and gills to make the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide. Biology, zoology and ecology were her passion after all. Fluttershy turns around to face the pier.

"Princess Twilight went to get Spike. She told me that we all must stay here together to make a plan, so we can revert this situation…" Sunset, Pinkie and Applejack nodded.

"I wouldn't mind to remain a mermaid for one day, though. I saw so many beautiful creatures down in the bottom of this bay while I swam up here. Which reminds me… I now have a seashell bra under the remains of my dress. I want to get out of the top of the dress, it kinda dragged me down" continued Fluttershy as she placed her arms behind herself to remove the remains of her dress.

"Also, talking about that… Ah think we can still use your scooter with some modifications, Pinkie. We can still use it to come and go as we need."
"Maybe even turn it into a walking platform! Like a ride-armor from a videogame!" said Sunset Shimmer/

"Do ya think… that this curse will be permanent? Are we gonna be… like this forever? Or will it vanish just like the wings and tails when we pony up?" asked Applejack.
"That is a very interesting question… I think we…" Sunset started but was interrupted by a loud splash, as Rarity emerged. She had a black eye, was visibly beaten and about to go into one of her drama-moments!

"Oh, my…. the air feels so dry…" she exclaimed before trying to regain composure. "GIRLS! Rainbow Dash escaped! I am sorry. I tried to stop her! I really did try! She… went to the other side of the bay, where the people are. I couldn't reach her, she was too fast!"

All of the girls gasped in surprise, Fluttershy in the middle of removing the top of the dress…
