I decided to give one of my oldest OCs, Maelstrom, a good polishing! I also gave him a cutie mark. With his new design his dragon genes are more prominent. He has razor sharp claws on his front hooves, and diamond tough scales on his belly. He also has dragon-like eyes!

His cutie mark represents his talent of dealing with weather at sea. He lived in a lighthouse on a small sand island before the balefire and megaspells, and he helped the local team of pegasi with weather duties and rescues on the sea. He dislikes pirates with a passion and deals with them as he sees fit.

In the wastelands you're better off keeping this dude as a friend. You don't wanna get on his bad side, those claws can do some damage to even the toughest metal armor and the scales on his belly are practically impenetrable.

No-pony knows exactly how old he is because of his fairly young looks. His dragon genes contribute to his extremely long lifespan.
