I wanted to add Dinky to the timebubble universe because I can. Ponet was originally the father (At least in my personal headcanons) so I wanted to change a few small details.

Ditzy’s pregnancy with Dinky was difficult to say the least. Her health really suffered during those seven and half months. When she went into labor, Ditzy was in Twilight’s castle for tea. Everything what happening so fast and it was so unexpected that the Princess was forced to help her give birth.

There were some complications and Twilight had to use her magic to ensure the safety of both the foal and mother. Because of this, Dinky’s coat turned a light lavender and her eyes were violet like hers for a few weeks.
