"Smolder is a Dragon student at Twilight’s School of Friendship (she was ordered to attend by Ember). Like many Dragons, she can seem arrogant at first but she has a kind heart underneath her loud exterior. One of the more feisty of the Young Six, Smolder does not like to do as she’s told and is often up to mischief with her friends.
Smolder’s Element of Harmony is Loyalty."

Here comes Smolder, the dragon of the Young Six. She's perhaps the third friendly dragon we encountered in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Tough, competitive, and initially resistant to the idea of friendship, she opens up to some of her fellow students, and becomes much friendlier overall. And since it turns out that she secretly likes cute things, like dresses, makeup, and tea parties, it makes it easier for her to make friends with ponies. Besides the Young Six, Smolder also becomes a very great friend to Spike, teaching him more about their dragon life, such as explaining to him about Molting and showing him how to fly with his new wings. He even helped him expose the deceptive, lazy bum of a dragon, Sludge. As weird as it sounds, Smolder's element is Loyalty. It might be the one that seems the least likely at first glance. After all, she can easily be the most rude, selfish, and insensitive of the Young Six. As the most critical of others out of the group, she is always the first one to call out others' flaws and failures, and she never minces words when it comes to telling people why they're wrong or talking about unfortunate outcomes. However, it's this behavior that reveals a deeper purpose with a long-term outcome. Smolder's nature is a result of her culture, much like Yona. Dragons value strength and skill above all else, and she wants to see that in her friends too. When she's tough on the others, it isn't to tear them down but rather to build them up. Smolder knows that her friends have the potential to be the best versions of themselves, and her dragon version of loyalty is making darn sure they're never anything less. But whenever she doesn't do this, Smolder will be at her friends' side and help them out, like when she learned about Spike being duped by his supposed father, Sludge, in being a dragon, Smolder knew that this lifestyle was not the dragon way, and she stayed at Spike side when they gave the lazy fraud the boot. Smolder is one cool little dragoness.

I would place Smolder as my fourth favorite Young Six character. Although she seems blunt and arrogant, she can be sweet and is a true friend through and through. I'm really glad that Spike got to make another dragon friend, and this one is not only roughly his age, but she lives close by. I wouldn't mind if those two were shipped. Oh well.

Making Smolder's vector wasn't a challenge, finding the right pose though seemed pretty limited. So just make a few adjustments. And since she's a dragon, why not give her a flaming background. More Young Six to go.
