: "I WANT IT! I CAN'T WAIT!"
: "You're gonna break Rarity's wallet this time, Sweetie Belle."
Yesterday was the PlayStation 5 event, so I watched it.
Overall, it was a pretty great event. Probably the detail I loved the most is that there's a huge variety of games. AAA games, indie games (love it), experimental games (love it), games where the art design matters more than graphics (something that I LOVE)… I mean, these different games would be conceptually imposible in the 90s, an era where the most technologically advanced videogame was "the best one ever". Sony understands that there are many types of different gamers with different preferences, and I love it for that. With more different games, your audience will grow and you'll have more options for your new sweet console, kinda like the Nintendo Switch.
I especially like four games: Demon's Souls (although I also want the PS3 version), Kena (man, that animation and art design… sweet!), Gran Turismo 7 (nice career option) and Stray (that one looks like Blade Runner, and I love it). I can't say too much about Horizon or Spiderman because I have to finish them in my PS4.
About the console… Is it me or does it look like a wi-fi router or the cannon of a hair dryer? It kinda looks like an anorexic Xbox 360 or something like that, which was the reason why I've made this very quick (3 hours, maybe less). But I'm not a hipster and judge an entire console just by its design. What matters are the games, not the console design. Besides, the more I look at it, the less I care.
That being said, I'm not gonna buy a PS5. I'd wait three or four years and a Black Friday to buy one. I'm not that impacient, I have another games and another consoles, so I'm not gonna be bored.
What do you think about the PS5? Was it great for you? Do you like the console design? What is your most anticipated PS5 game?
