I really wanted to draw something simple and I thought I really need to do more with the "New Student Six". So here's Coral Reef with her family (with some added info).

Her parents, Shark Fin and Ocean Sky are part of the hippogriffs who decided not just to continue their life under the sea, but fully reject being hippogriffs (for example Ocean Flow from the show is part of this group). They don't even own a shard from the pearl.

On the other hand Coral's aunt, Summer Sky wanted to return to the hippogriff life. This later put a rift between Summer and her sister. She isn't against putting on a seapony form, as it let's her visit her beloved niece.

Coral born and lives her life as a seapony. The only reason she owns a pearl shard necklace, because it was a gift from Summer (much to the distaste of Ocean, but she tolartes it, because Coral really loves her aunt). Even tho she has it, Coral never put on her hippogriff form and has no idea about life above the sea.
