Pippin
"Whaddya mean we can't build a three-story barn? Ah got tha blueprints righ' here! Look, an' we can even build a balcony, riiigght there!"
Parents: Tender Taps and Applebloom
Species: Earth/Female
Special Talents: Woodworking, construction
Nicknames: Pip, Pips, Pip-Pip
Significant Other: (she ain't got time for boys!)
Voice Actor: Abigail Breslin
Bio:
Ever-energetic and filled with a determination inherited straight from her Mama Bloom, Pippin is the youngest of the Apple family. She is the up-and-coming leader of her little ragtag group, consisting of "The P's" (Pippin, Proud Skies, and Pixel Stream) and occasionally Gavin and Cinder when they visit (and of course via corresponding letters). Pip is loudmouthed, enthusiastic, and is ever-willing to lend a helping hoof. Especially if somepony needs help with fixing things. Pippin's absolute passion is woodworking — building and fixing things. She can prattle on and on about the difference between oak and aspen and loves showing off her impressive collection of hammers. As to be expected, her Ma is extremely proud.
As any Apple is, she is very close to her family. She loves to rave on about her dad's latest performance, or her mom's latest success story. She loves to chitchat with Uncle Ash about various trees and plant life. Aunt Jackie, Uncle Mac, and Aunt Belle are just like secondary parents to her. She sees her cousins Juniper Berry and Chrysanthemum as sisters. She often employs Chryssi's sheer strength in various projects (and, of course, the cheerful unicorn never minds). Pip also inherited her family's impressive strength, and more than once offers to help buck the trees. While she's not quite old enough yet, Pippin proves her maturity by ensuring all of her work is completed, and completed well (mostly without the reluctance she did not inherit from Mama Bloom), and making Great Granny's favorite applesauce.
Proud Skies
"One moment, please. Let me get into character…"
Parents: Rumble and Scootaloo
Species: Pegasus/Male
Special Talents: Acting, theater
Nicknames: Sky, Pro, Sky-Sky (he really doesn't prefer this one.)
Significant Other: (he's focusing on his acting career!)
Voice Actor: Zach Callison
Bio:
Proud Skies is the level-headed, quiet son of the rough-and-tumble pegasi Scootaloo and Rumble. He's the middle member of "The P's," his little motley group of foals on the lookout for adventure (and the occasional cutie mark). He is very close to Pippin and Pixel Stream, the energetic fillies helping to build his slightly lacking confidence and always highly encouraging of his passion. Despite his shyness, Sky's true self really shows when he has donned his threads and stepped out onto the stage, into the spotlight. The little pegasus is an aspiring actor, and has been nearly-obsessed with the theater since his Aunt Dash took him to see Hinny of the Hills when he was five. Though a bit of a surprise to his talented parents, they still support him in most of his endeavors. Rumble was especially excited to see his son pursuing a certainly unique dream.
Sky can nearly become any character at whim, and it fascinates his friends to no end that he can cry on cue. It took him quite some time to build up the courage to begin taking actual theater classes at school and participating in community events. Sky is never short on (very loud) encouragement from his close-knit family, though someponies around town wonder why he isn't pursuing a career as a Wonderbolt, as his father and uncle have before him. Unlike his flightless mother, Proud Skies can fly — and quite well at that (much to Scootaloo's relief). He looks up to his "cousin" Jetstream, the ever-cool older son of Aunt Rainbow Dash. Jetstream often offers to provide background music for Sky's performances, to which the shy colt always eagerly accepts. He admires Jet's carefree attitude and his confidence on stage. One day, Sky hopes to be as self-assured as the musician and take over Bridleway.
Pixel Stream
"Alright, bud, I'll make you a deal. We've been rolling eight's all night. Trade me three brick for two sheep, and the absolute moment I get my ore, I'll help you take over the western region on the board. What'cha say…?"
Parents: Button Mash and Sweetie Belle
Species: Earth/Female
Special Talents: Playing board/card games
Nicknames: Pixel, Pix, P.S.
Significant Other: (Huh? Oh, she's got a session to plan tonight. Maybe later.)
Voice Actor: Grace Rolek
Bio:
Pixel Stream is a silly, slightly ditzy, overall lovable filly that is actually quite smarter than she initially appears. Daughter of professional singer Sweetie Belle and professional gamer (sorta) Button Mash. Pix also makes up the third link in her little circle, affectionately known as "The P's." Her best friends in the entire world are Pippin and Proud Skies. Just like their mothers before them, these three spend pretty much all day, nearly every day together. And of course, just like their moms, they are on that ever-frustrating quest to find those precious cutie marks — though, after several long-winded speeches from their mothers, who all know firsthoof, they don't quite pursue them as voraciously. Nevertheless, this little group is extremely encouraging of each other's passions — and in this case, Pixel Stream's intense love of gaming. But, not quite the same as the flashy games her father adores. Anything with cards, dice, or dungeon masters, Pixel is determined to become at master at.
At a mere eight years old, Pixel Stream managed to win the local Ponyville Solitaire contest. While this filly may walk through life, seemingly with her head in the clouds (and sometimes really not with the program) her intense ability to focus comes into play when she's faced with a level twenty monster, and her armor is only plus five. She is very good at figuring out solutions quite quickly, and has become so adept at tabletop gaming that the Royal Adviser himself, Discord, invited her to a good old game of Ogres and Oubliettes. (that was one of the best gaming sessions she ever had). Pixel is also a hard team worker, and is always reliable for finding a solution to the group's problems (if she's aware what the problem is, that is…)
