Meet Beat Drop! She's the one and only child of renowned musician Octavia Melody and famed DJ Vinyl Scratch, who entertained the thought of having a foal of their own when all of their friends starting settling down and getting pregnant. However the couple refused to settle, not wanting for their lives to completely halt because of a kid. The two were very careful in their planning and conceived, soon having a little one of their own. Beat Drop grew up going to concerts, lessons, and parties, experiencing the two different worlds that both of her mothers worked in. Even when she accompanied either parent, she was always watched by their kind friends at any events, like other musicians, drag queens, etc. Beat grew up very open-minded and in an accepting environment, which helped solidify who she was as a pony. She received her cutie mark in the same world as Vinyl Scratch, being a talented hype pony for raves and similar events. Her professional title is a Go-Go Dancer! Beat Drop attends her job with glow sticks for the whole crowd, a big grin, and enough dancing to make the average pony drop. She is a huge night owl, like her DJ Mom before her and if she does go out during the day, she tends to avoid the sunniest of weather.
