okay, so there's a long story behind this one. After a quick venture to google, it turns out that ponies and buffalo aren't…um…compatible. I'm not too good at writing out stories, so I'm just gonna give you guys the jist of it.

His mother named him after his grandfather, Chief Thunderhooves. His biological father died when TC was very little, so he doesn't remember much about him. Little Strong Heart was devastated, though, and received help in raising Thunder and coping with the loss from Braeburn. Thus, Braeburn became the father figure in Thunder's life, and began growing closer to Little Strong Heart.

Thunder Clap himself is rather stoic, but is a fantastic story teller and a superb writer. When he writes, he'll use the feather on his head as a quill, if there aren't any other writing tools nearby. His body is lean but muscular, and he's able lift more than most of the adult ponies in Appleloosa. He can get rather shy, though, and has a habit of flicking his tail around when he's nervous.
