When Grace and Archwire were young, they didn't always get along, even though Grace saw Archie as a potential friend. While Archie stood up for her, at the same time, he would make fun of her quiet behavior just for the sake of it. When the teasing got to the point where Grace would tell him off, the two would end up getting into petty conflict.
By the way, Archie is Archwire's childhood nickname.
This is part of my upcoming story that I'm working on, right now, I'm just focusing on the illustrations.
