Phew,..
Lemmy break down for ya for a sec.. break it down for ya for a sec..
It's not often I like to get sappy in my commentary, but this is well deserved of an exception.
Madame Nicole Lyn Oliver has, within the last 2 years, has become to me one of the most important women I've had the pleasure of knowing. When MLP came along, I loved her as Celestia and Cheerilee, but it wasn't until my first BronyCon (Jan. 2012) that I knew who she was beyond those two roles. With being a voice-actor as one of my biggest dreams, and loving VA's altogether, I had the privilege of attending the VA panel there, and there was one thing in particular that she did before it all started, and I'll never forget it. It was at that moment that she truly stole my heart. I knew right away that there was so much more to her than just her amazing voice talent.
As she's said herself, she really personifies both Princess Celestia and Cheerilee to a T. She's kind, wise, and an all around mentor to everyone. She can handle a situation like a pro. Even moreover, by the second BronyCon, I got a better look into her view of what it's like VA-ing for the show; like she mentioned those moments when you're delivering particular lines and can't stop laughing, and just really having fun with it all.
She's got such a beautiful soul, and I don't believe I stop smiling for a second whenever I see Celestia or Cheerilee because of her.
I can honestly say.. I really think she's one of the few women I actually love. She and Cathy Wesluck, they're really just..
Yeah.
So here's to you, your highness. Happy Birthday. I hope you have the best.
BronyCon and your tear-jerking singing performance in Magical Mystery Cure, that's twice now you've made me publicly well up, and in front of my friends even! Consider this my attempt at getting you back for that :P.
You're my mentor, my teacher, and a magnificent inspiration to me as an aspiring VA, and I hope to someday be half the person you are.
Your faithful student,
