Requested by my good friend and fellow :iconrobot-and-monster: member :iconaeon-borealis:, she wanted me to draw a younger Robot and Gizmo. She's done a lot for me, especially since she made a VERY special dream I had [link] come true and made it into a story. :aww: And here's the story:

Also want to thank her THOUSANDS for making this request I made some time ago, featuring such a heartwarming and tearful cartoon crossover moment between long-lost mother and son [link]

And the reason I drew Twilight Sparkle with her Crystal pony mane, it's to symbolize for both me and :iconaeon-borealis: of Princess Invisible, Crazy Cousin Gizmo's 'invisible girlfriend and fiance' from the RnM episode "The Party". Mainly because we both truly acknowledged her and BELIEVED she could actually be real…that she's just invisible. :XD: After watching "The Party", I came up with what Princess Invisible could possibly be like, better yet, where she came from.


:bulletwhite: So I came up with this place called the Crystal Kingdom…and I thought of it WAY long before the third season of MLP FIM started airing and bronies and fans were given the two-part 'Crystal Empire' episodes. I guess I'd got to thank Hasbro for being some inspiration to me. :XD:

:bulletpink:So both :iconaeon-borealis: and I think of Princess Invisible as totally real, and derived from the magical place known as 'the Crystal Kingdom', which is VERY different from the Crystal Empire that Princess Cadence rules. :XD: :iconaeon-borealis: even thought up and drawn first her interpretation of Invisible. :) [link] Is it weird that I consider a princess who was neither seen NOR heard one of my favorite princesses, even beyond the Disney ones? :lol:


And in my opinion, since Crazy Cousin Gizmo was the ONLY family member in Robot's life to NOT be 'cold and indifferent' like the rest of the DeFaults, I think maybe he and Robot were very close…before Gizmo was placed in a mental institution. ;

I think, like Monster, Gizmo is Robot's other best friend as well. :)
