What if Fluffy ponies hadn't been bio-engineered and had instead evolved from something else?

Natural fluffy ponies would probably be quite different. Unlike the profit driven committee based decision-making of Hasbio, Evolution isnt a deliberate process. Theyd probably still be cute as well as significantly more durable and much less talkative. Theyd likely be smarter as well. Maybe not all that brilliant compared to other animals, but theyd at least understand things like object permanence, theory of mind, and causality.
