The splashing of water continued on for a long while, as a pair of white unicorns frolicked through the puddles the rain had left behind. Though the two were not yet thoroughly familiar with each other, the little ones couldn't help but be overjoyed as they splashed each other and played, heedless of the twin pairs of watchful eyes in the distance.

"Just look at them… It's almost like watching siblings play, isn't it?" Elusive whispered to his other self, slightly nosing her wet mane. "They get along so well… I don't think we've ever been this close together, before the Brotherhooves Bash."

Rarity let loose a giggle of her own. "Sisterhooves Social on our end, dear." she replied, before leaning into him. "But yes, I know what you mean. Sweetie and I have been enjoying each other's company more now, than before… and with you and Sweepy visiting, it seems only natural that the feeling of siblinghood would only… grow…" She watched them for a few seconds longer, before a thought clouded her eyes. Biting her lip, she then turned back to the stallion.

"Elusive… do you think we were wrong?"

He blinked a couple of times at that, before the same thought caught up with him. "You mean… our own relationship?"

"It's not something I've given thought to before… I mean, the both of us feel undeniably attached to each other… but what if we have it all mixed up? Should we… approach it differently? L-like Twilight and Dusk, or our farmer friends? Should we be… siblings, instead of lovers?"

Elusive sat there and thought about the conundrum for a long moment. In the distance, Sweetie pounced on her other self's back, sending the both of them rolling into a puddle of mud.

"…you know what?" the white colt finally spoke, placing a forelimb around his counterpart's shoulders. "I think that… we're overcomplicating things, trying to think about it. I mean, just look at them." He gestured towards the twin foals still dashing about in the rain. "They're not worried. They're just together… why should we?"

Rarity looked into his deep blue eyes, a smile blossoming on her own face, before she turned back to view her little sister… and little brother. "Yes… just look at them… you're right, dear. Sometimes… it's just not worth worrying."
