Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor sat in the Ponyville hospital. Twilight was sitting on a bed with Shining Armor.

Nurse Redheart walked into the room. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Sparkle," she started. "I'm glad to announce that your foal is a filly! She is very healthy. You should be proud, Mr. Sparkle." Nurse Redheart smiled warmly. She could be cold sometimes, but if you gave her the chance, she could be very nice. Shining Armor blushed, as did Twilight.

"Thank you." Twilight coughed. She knew that the nurse didn't know they were related, but she was still wary of replying on such a subject. The nurse walked out of the room to give the two to-be parents some privacy.

"I can't believe this is happening." Twilight said. The only ponies who knew of her relationship with her brother were her and her friends.

Shining Armor gave Twilight a reassuring smile. "It'll be fine Twily… I know it."

"But what are we gonna say to mom and dad?" Twilight asked worriedly.

"I'm sure they'll understand." Shining Armor replied reassuringly. Twilight smiled and placed a hoof on Shining's.

He smiled in return and placed his other hoof on Twilight's belly.
