Skittles is a mix between fluttershy and rainbowdash, l guess you could call her their daughter.. She has the kindness and animal loving touch of flutter, but is as fast and 'cool' as rainbow.
The duck, by the way is named Whistle. He was found by Skittles and can talk, although they both keep it a secret from others for his well-being.
