Today’s prompt: Draw a pony on the warpath / Draw a pony finding peace with themselves.

I can’t stand the thought of the innocent and unoffending being mistreated or bullied, especially when there’s no comeuppance for the offender’s cruel behavior. When I’m watching my favorite shows, I tend to get angry whenever characters I cared about were being insulted or maltreated, feeling like I want to jump in, protect them, and give their aggressors a piece of my mind.

That’s how Blazewing feels in moments like these. Pecan’s long made peace with the fact that she’s a little plump, but when Blaze hears ponies have made fun of her for her weight, he feels ready to go on the warpath until Pecan calms him down. All the same, she feels grateful for his concern and consideration for her feelings. =)
