Day 26: Draw a pony nostalgic for the past
One thing that Tough Cookie, Syntax, and Pecan Sandy all have in common is that they were inspired, mentored, and encouraged to become who they are today by ponies who have, sadly, passed on.
For Cookie, it was Knick Knack, who ran Curios before she inherited it from him after his passing, and who treated her like a daughter after she ran away from her own family. For Syntax, it was Trotsworth, who previously ran Trotsworth Tomes, and from whom Syntax inherited not just the bookstore, but his favorite hat as well. And for Pecan, it was her own mother, Vanilla Sundae, who was an ice cream maker who encouraged her daughter to pursue her love of baking, and whose pearl necklace Pecan now wears as a memento.
Despite no longer being in their lives, Cookie, Syntax, and Pecan have never forgotten, nor ever will forget, all they've done for them.
