Time to DEEP DIVE

Zipp: Born with “Albinism”, this gives some explanation as to why she looks so different to her sister Pipp and her mother, Queen Haven as well. Because of this, Zephyr was treated like a delicate flower, constantly coddled and watched over until enough was enough ! After many attempts of spreading her wings and learning to live life how she wants, everyone had certainly gotten used to her being able to take care of herself, of course that doesn’t stop her loving mother from doting on her as she does with Pipp. Zephyr has an edge to her, always communicating her thoughts and wants, even getting snippy if things don’t go as she planned but she is still very caring and protective (possibly adopting how she was raised), especially of her sister Pip, and once she is bonded with some friends, the same treatment branches off to them. Zephyr isn’t afraid to grow her family with her friends, despite trying to seem mysterious and cool. This daring pegasus loves to surpass her limits, continuing to race on hoof even after gaining the magic to fly, she wants to be great at absolutely anything athletic !

Pipp: We all know Pipp is all about singing and hair styling ! Becoming a pop star was totally a bonus she does not mind keeping, just like her hobby of dressing up too, when she has the time. Where she truly shines though, is her ideas on dance choreography, if she is to match the beat in her music then she needs to show off her mesmerising moves, wouldn’t want the audiences eyes wandering off elsewhere, right? Pipp enjoys the celebrity life and everything that it has to offer her, for some reason, managing herself in the spotlight has come naturally to her, and why not? She was born a royal, that also naturally comes with being in the spotlight, she most definitely loves attention, something she has learnt with Zephyr having taking a lot of it from the beginning of their upbringing but it’s never stopped her from being heard.

Misty: Even after her redemption, she is still filled with anxiety and dread for things that could go wrong, usually going on a fast ramble about how something bad could happen when she is introduced to a tense situation. Either way, she makes up for it by stimming with her mantra, something that gives her the bravery she oh so desires, it’s within her but it’s very easy for her to forget her worth and capabilities when she has suffered under Opalines abuse for so many moons, putting her in many depressed and panicked states while under her control. The nightmares still haunt her and she sometimes accidentally catches herself missing the times when things were bad but Misty has great support from Zephyr, Pipp and Izzy. Not to mention her dad Alphabittle, who has always been reaching out a hoof to her whenever she needs encouragement and love. Misty is currently healing, exploring things that speak to her so she can find her own identity. Studying magic and brewing the herbs Alphabittle gifted her is what she mostly finds comforting, as it’s what she believes began her journey. Her father being a brewster and her receiving her cutie mark, along with her magic. Apart from that, she loves to go on quiet walks, enjoying the scenery, a gentle visit to her friends and making her own plushies.
(I would like for Misty’s old full name to involve something with tea, maybe Misty Teahouse/Teashack or something hmmm. There is also that blue tea called Butterfly Pea ! Misty ButterflyPea Tea, sounds soooo cute to me, I’m keeping that !)

Izzy: A chill and soothing unicorn from the quiet parts of Bridlewood. Izzy is very in tune with the concept of fate, destiny and chance, she believes all good things will come eventually to those who deserve it while karma is creeping ever so closely to those who deserve that side of fate instead. With the wisdom she has received from her almost daily visits to Elder Flower, her connection to and knowledge of Bridlewoods nature, and her ever-growing library of beating Alphabittle to his own games, she has become a unicorn worthy of feeling secure within herself, she is wholeheartedly herself and is happy to share her positivity and patience to those around her. With her patience, she adores arts & crafts, using any items and paints to her disposal to make something truly unique, something that matches the colour of her aura but with so many things to keep up with enjoying, she can very well abandon whatever she was working on halfway by accidentally getting distracted by another idea, her head can’t help but run so fast with so many inspirations of her next project, this leads her to cause many a mess wherever she decides her next project is.

Sunny: The very friendly and excited pony, she loves to meet anyone new like ANYONE NEW PLEASE cause she is sooo bored of her little town, Maretime Bay, the ponies are lovely… in their own, unique way bUT where are the unicorns and pegasi??
Luckily, with her hunger for adventure and exploration, the answer came right to her own very little town ! Hahahaa… not to worry. Izzy was on the case of getting Sunny to finally branch out to places she’d never been before and now, she is surrounded by so many different ponies who are all so different ! How can she make sure they can all be united and forever be united? It’s something she just has to take one hoof at a time. Sunny loves organising events, coming up with new ideas for her community to enjoy, hanging out with all of her friends as much as she can ! And making her smoothies. Sunny is very much an extrovert and can’t help but want to share her own magic with those around her, nothing is average when she is in the mix, everything has to be as interesting as possible to keep. Everyone. HAPPY. And have just sooo much fun. With this comes her micro-managing and pony-pleasing side, she just wants things to be perfect for each pony but in return, is she looking after herself? Luckily, she has her friend Izzy to help keep her grounded and let her know when it is time to relax, take a deep breath and a soothing break.

I realllly gotta wrap this up but !

Sunny is the sun to Izzy’s moon ! They are a strong duo and eventually a couple, yes they smooch. Izzy’s redesign was very well inspired by Inkiio’s video here: [link] and honestly one of the main reasons why I even thought of redesigning this group. I just looove the idea of Izzy being Sunny’s opposite, the both of them embodying the sun and moon personalities (but mostly positive sides of it ofc) and they’re mainly the ones I’m excited to talk about because their dynamic would just be so interesting and fun !

Misty would totally be Zephyr’s first friend that she has truly created a deep bond with. As Misty opened up about her struggles, Zephyr felt honoured to be trusted with her heavy feelings and in turn, Misty was honoured to gain Zephyr’s trust… however temporary that may be… Zephyr’s distrust to her afterwards only teaches them both more lessons on friendship, with Zephyr taking the betrayal very seriously and not being one to easily forget the damage even if she were to forgive but, eventually, they are sick of missing one another's company and come together again, later in the future finding affections within one another.

And Pipp totally draws on her moles and no one bats an eye at it because that’s her fashion choice lol.

OH YEAH and Zephyr has pink eyes with a hint of blue from her albinism, she also dyes her mane red as she likes the colour is finds that it kinda matches with Pipp, also dyes her wings later on in life as she explores her own style.

Izzy is still the tallest btw ! It’s why she’s crouching down heheh. It goes from Izzy, Zephyr, Sunny(?), Misty(?) and then Pipp being the shortest !
I love the lore info that unicorns are the largest and I can’t help but love a nervous, dorky and tall Misty that borrows some of her dads physique but I also love the idea of her being a little shorter than Sunny to show she is a smaller than average pony so lol

Also, Misty’s horn is slightly curved here but it may be more drastic later as I came up with a reasoning as to why her horn is curved. Usually, the headcanon is that horns curve the more skilled on is at magic but, I think I’d rather that fact be related to the length of the horn. Instead of the curving of the horn having that reason, I instead will rewrite it into that the curving of the horn is due to abnormalities with the flow of magic within ones horn.
So, the flow has to be irregular in some way, Misty’s magic is completely non-existent until she gains her cutie mark, most abnormal. If the magic sometimes fails to activates or there is lack of control on the effects of the activation, like Twilights explosive energy of magic in her testing, then it’s an irregular flow. Something that can definitely be improved with practice, studying and time. I love delving into this teehee.
