I wanted to try my hand at some comic book interiors for my portfolio and I thought I would continue the story I set out in my MLP G5 animatics. This is like a fun, little slice of life in the beginning and then a solemn tone towards the end.
I've been working on this for the past 2 months and I learned a lot, especially how important lettering is. It was somewhat of an afterthought in my thumbnailing stages which I corrected heavily over the course of the work.
