Artist description — So, today is the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. In a nutshell, this festival is to celebrate the coming of the mid autumn full moon (Hence, Luna). Lanterns are brought out and hung everywhere. The children take out candles and line them in patterns on the floor. Some people take lanterns and walk the streets, lighting the ways up as they go. A special cake called a Moon Cake is also only made during this time. Applejack seems to be serving some over there.
Well, this is one of the most complicated pieces I have ever done with 10 ponies fully coloured. This took forever to paint, but I'm glad I got it done on time. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some lanterns to hang up. :)
