Eventide yelps, startled as she looks downward to inspect the bizarre occurrences to her hind hooves. A squeezing, tightening sensation had crossed over them, leaving rigidity in its wake, climbing up toward her ankles and moving fast. Her dark grey fur condensed, running smoothly together as it solidified into a much lighter coloured, polished stone surface, her eyes going wide at the sight. Tingling and squeezing, with a hint of a crackling sound reaching her sensitive ears- She felt her hind limbs slow, moving becoming more and more difficult with each passing second.
Before she had time to even process within her mind just what was going on with her body the stiffness crept up to her hips, locking everything below in stiff, compressing stone. She waves her hooves in the air, feeling her balance start to slip as she tilted backward, catching herself on her forehooves with a grimace. The empty vial drops to the floor with a glassy ring.
Petrification! Realization came swift… something had happened to her ingredients, she’d made the wrong potion! Judging by the speed at which the stone moved along her form, she hadn’t long to reverse it either.
