What happened afterwards, not even Spike was expecting. The kick made contact, but as it did, his foot broke through the crumbling body of the demon dog. He landed on the cave floor, inertia causing him to continue sliding to a halt.
The crumbling demon dog body, exploded in a spectacular green fashion behind Spike. He found himself in a particularly cool pose when it happened. Amongst the rush of emotions that flooded his mind as he looked over in Sharp direction, who was agape in awe of what he just witnessed, he couldnt help but think to himself.
"Am I amazing or what?"
