You can just imagine how this went down on Rarity's 18th Birthday after she'd passed her driving test. You can see them now at a local Rolls Royce dealership:
Rarity's Dad: "So Honey, which one would you like for your birthday? :)
Rarity: Oh, there's so many to choose from. I'll take them all! :squee:
Sweetie Belle: How come I can't have a fancy car? Grump
Rarity: Oh come Sweetie Belle, you know you're not old enough to drive. I'll tell you what, if you be a good girl until you're 18, I'll let you have the Silver Spirit. How does that sound? wink grin
Sweetie Belle: You drive a hard bargain, but I'll take it! :D
Well since I've done a cutesy sister-sister drawing for Applejack/Applebloom and Rainbow Dash/Scootaloo, I felt that these two needed a cutesy situation as well, so I've decided to have them together at their lavish country estate posing with their fine selection of old Rolls Royces, like all rich people do! xD

However, owning an old Roller may not be the best of things. If I look at them from my mechanical and practical point of view, Rolls Royce cars are slow, unwieldy, have the fuel economy of a Chieftain Tank (0.5 miles to the Gallon), replacement parts are impossible to come by, they're about as reliable as the British Government, and I hate them all…
But the rest of me loves Rollers because of the passion, style and luxury that still to this day remains largely unbeaten. They don't need to be fast because if you're passengers are sat in the back drinking their bubbly, the last thing they need is you bombing round a corner like an imbecile and spilling it all over them! (Unless you were feeling especially snide that day… EVIL Laughter!)
