Spike: "I can explain, Rarity!"
Rarity: "I should certainly hope so. I can't believe you've been keeping something like this from me."
Spike: "It's not like that. Moondancer's just an old friend"
Rarity: "When were you going to tell me you were nobility?"
Spike: " Wait, you're not upset about Moondancer?"
Rarity: "Upset? About her? Oh, Darling, please"
One of my many head-canons concerning our favorite baby dragon is that, having been raised by Princess Celestia, Spike is a prince by adoption. He keeps it on the down low because he gets more satisfaction out of being able to serve others rather than be served, but occasionally he pulls rank to influence ponies such as Hoity Toity or Sapphire Shores to do him a solid. I also always thought that Moondancer being a competing love interest (unlucky childhood friend type) would be interesting since I saw the first episode. I like the idea that Blueblood is actually generally pleasant, if fussy like Rarity, and is one of Spike's close friends.
I just realized all these ponies are white. What's up with that?
