"Well, he ate a good 15 or so decent sized gems, its not something I can overlook." Magma answered. "Im busy all the time smashing boulders in this quarry finding gems, sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I dont. So I needed a good sized stash for the slow days.

Spike nodded and walked over to Sharp and sat by him. "Well in that case, the more dragons braking rocks, the quicker your debt is paid Sharp." Spike said encouragingly.

"R-really?" Sharp replied with gratitude. "Youll help me?"

"Youre going to help him!?" Magma exclaimed. "Why? Even after hes lied to you and is very clearly using you.

"Well," Spike replied, "hes my friend, and friends help each other out. Even if he is a lying thief, I still need him to navigate to lead me to Spiral Mountain to solve the mystery of the disappearing dragons.

"And you also believe him" Magma shook his head in disbelief. He sighed and shrugged, Whatever, no scales off my back, do what you want. Sooner he pays off his debt, sooner you can be on your way and out of my life.

Magma walked away from the pair, still shaking his head.
