Snort jerked his head around to see the three dragons from the night before. Sharp was squatting by the pool presumably drinking some water, Magma was looking down into the dark tunnel, and Spike with his travelers backpack was standing and talking to him. Snort was shocked that it really was true, he wasnt just dreaming or hallucinating, that those dragons he had bonded with last night were real.
Spike was smiling, We didnt want to wake you, not that we could have considering what you can sleep through admittedly. But we were discussing our situation while you slept, and while you said there arent any exits, that was before the avalanche and the cave in happened.
Snort was still processing the information that these dragons were real and he wasnt alone anymore, but Spike continued, So what the guys and I were thinking is that during the collapse, maybe a new path opened that could lead us out. Since we didnt want to up and leave you, we waited to tell you that were going to take a chance at finding our way out. You can stay and wait for your squad if they come by, but if we do find a way out; well come back and get you ourselves. Sounds good doesnt it?
Snort comprehended what Spike said, and suddenly became quite panicked.
