Before she was princess, before she was an alicorn, she was still Celestia. She welcomed the challenges. (And then ragequit the instant they stopped going her way.) She might just be in over her head on this one, though.
I always imagine teenage Celestia to be a sort of bossy control freak, always micromanaging the stuff going on around her. She's in it to win it, and if she's not winning it, she should be.
