When I uploaded this 573724 it was brought to my attention that Merriwether looked to much like a ponified Finn from Adventure Time. Taking some commenters advice I designed her a new cutie mark that I believe better represents her writing.

A fountain pen, since it's the oldest writing utensil next to quills, represents how she has been writing for cartoons the longest out of all the writers on the show (Not counting L. Faust).

A lightning bolt represent how she's known for writing episodes very fast. She's been credited as Merriwether "why are we writing so fast?" Williams on other cartoons.

The line going from colorful to black represents how most of her episodes have a more mature and cynical tone "sprinkled with comedy". It shows how she tries to have a darker and lighter side to her episodes.
