Rarity: "Oh dear, I believe Ive made a short story run very long allow me to wrap this up quickly.
After that Spike started visiting Sweetie on a regular basis. And she was always enthused to see him. Eventually, Spike came to me about breaking up, now knowing that it would never work between us. He said he was sorry and blamed himself for it, but I told him not to worry, and it was never his fault.
Soon after that, I subtly encouraged Sweetie to ask Spike out for a date. She was, unsurprisingly, very willing. If a bit embarrassed at my brazenness.
And the rest is, as you might, history.
