It never sat right with me that Spike has wings as an adult dragon in the story, however he doesn’t have wings in MLP FiM, and doesn’t even appear to be able to grow wings. As such, I drew Spike as my headcanon works with him — in Fallout Equestria: On The Bright Side of Death, Spike is an Oriental Dragon, inately different from other dragons, able to fly without wings, and has a fixation on facial hair, which I say, he sports with gusto.

I pity the pony that hurts the stache.
