Quick Bread Bio: Cherry Bomber is just as much of a jock as her parents, and whenever she happens to attend a sports event she will go full meathead. But her profession of choice is journalism, sports journalism to be precise, writing local columns centered on the sporting events in Cloudsdale and Ponyville. She wants to know how the game and the players work, understanding the small details of the system that make up the whole. Like her father she loves to travel, so during the off season Cherry will usually go abroad to report foreign sports. Sometimes she gets the "lucky" opportunity to observe a blood sport, but won't report on them. Blood sports are taboo and banned in all pony dominated territories.

When it comes to confidence, Cherry is in no short supply. But this often means she is confrontational. Shes smart and she knows it but like a typical know-it-all, doesn't like her opinions challenged. So when she thinks she has a good idea, trying to get her to see otherwise is comparable to climbing a sheer wall. But when she does see reason, Cherry will acquiesce with dignity. At least… most of the time.

Hobbies: Cherry enjoys the high energy and excitement of sports, and she also loves the energy of pyrotechnics. It stems from the first time she ever made a trip outside of Equestria to experience a popular overseas sport/pass time called 'The Running of the Minotaur'. While there, she was introduced to many cultural aspects of life that come from not having innate magic. One of those inventions was the firearm, and this innovation filled her with a fascination and she couldn't quite explain. All she knew was that she felt an exotic power behind them. This lead her to pyrotechnics.

So in her spare time she indulges in alchemy. Like Zecora, she can brew potions and use magic in this fashion, but she isn't very skilled in this endeavour. However, she uses what she knows to create homemade fireworks for just about any occasion that requires a display. Sometimes even when it doesn't require a display.

Being a gun enthusiast is a bit difficult for a creature that doesn't have hands. But Rockets and fireworks work on the same principal, and it feels just as great lighting them off.


Edit:I went ahead and gave Cherry Bomber an occupation change, other than that not much is different. I felt that giving her a job more closely related to sports would be a better idea, plus, being a journalist gives her an excuse to travel. Alchemy is now a side hobby.
