"Seriously though, this movie very much sums up what Robin Williams was for many people.
He mightve looked old, but deep inside of him there was that one little kid full of wonder and happiness that never wanted to grow up, who spread cheer and madness all over. And we can see all of that in this movie which, by the way, has left me feeling really good. This is one of those movies that shouldnt work because its premise is so outlandish, and yet it does with flying colors. Its so bizarre, silly and colorful that it can sneak in some genuine pathos and touching moments. It shows that, even when we grow older and leave our childhood behind, there are still happy thoughts that keep us going, that letting our imaginations fly isnt something thats supposed to end when you become a grown up.
Thats this movie, from beginning to end.
I think Im now ready to move on. I wasnt before, but I think this is a good note to end this small overview on the career of one of the most extraordinary people who ever lived. I will happily review more of his movies in the future, but for now, its time to get to other films.
And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get ready. October is getting really close."
