Spikes Quest — Chapter 6: [140][141]
Sharp watched as all the events unfolded. He had no idea what Barius was talking about and Snort shot lightning out of his face. As Barius went and continued his experiments on the green dragon, Sharp walked over to the door out of the room. He looked back to see Snort sitting on Bariuss bed with that same look he had before when he ate the other gem, Alright, Im going to find Spike, you guys keep doing what youre doing, and try not to get hurt. The two didnt seem to acknowledge Sharp leaving, and Sharp was out the door.
Man, crazy magic dragon Sharp muttered to himself, I wonder where Spike is? He walked down the hallway. He wasnt all that hungry, his slender build didnt require much fuel, and hed eaten his fill last night anyway. He walked down a flight of stairs, thinking that perhaps Spike was eating. Instead, Sharp found the purple dragon at the bottom of the stairs, walking with Bariuss mom. Okay, thats a little weird. Sharp waved at Spike, who turned and noticed him.
Hey Sharp, Spike waved back, Finally awake huh? Kitoith was showing me her plan to deal with the diamond dogs.
Awesome, and what would that be? Sharp asked.
"Were calling in reinforcements, and taking the direct approach," Kitoith explained confidently. "So, were just going to sit tight until the cavalry comes, which should be in a day or two, then take to the skies," she said rather dramatically.
Sharp gave a sigh of relief, Sounds good enough for me. Last thing he wanted to do was to go on a crazy adventure again, hoping instead to have a slightly less exciting life, lazing about with friends, like Spike and the others. Though Sharp had to admit, charging straight in sounds like something Magma would suggest. Speaking of Hey, have you seen Magma or Mangle anywhere?
No, Spike answered, They werent there when I woke up.
Your brown and red friends? Kitoith asked. I think I saw them out in the orchard this morning. I think Mangle wanted Magma to teach him how to get stronger.
Huh. wonder how thats going? Spike asked to himself.
