Thought we were in store for some hot tentacle action? Denied! Didnt you know that alchemists tend to carry all sorts of volatile chemicals and explosive compounds in the off-chance they get ambushed by scary monsters or nasty bandits? Crystal Vial never lost his composure once during this encounter: just ignore the panicked expression or how it seems the trinkets are tumbling from his pockets of their own volition, as it was really his own quick thinking and lightening fast reflexes which saved the day. Yup, thats the story and were sticking to it!

On a side note hes lucky that thing didnt blow him to bits as well, but we can put that down to the magic of rolling a natural 20 on a reflex throw.
