Celestia: I got mine when I realized I wanted to bring warmth and happiness to ponies lives. I didnt realize at the time how literal the bringing warmth part would eventually be. I thought I was going to be an innkeeper or something like that!
Luna: Our parents also claimed it was for her sunny disposition. At the time, I thought it was for her fiery temper. Thank goodness she grew out of that.
