The sorcering earth pony is my own character, Alintha Rist. Her cutie mark is a unicorns horn that generates magic in spite of her being an earth pony. She channels it through a talisman she wears, creating a horn made entirely of magic. Her spells aren't very reliable, but there's a couple of magical effects that she has honed to perfection. Pure blasting energy is one of them, the other is the every so useful ability to microwave muffins to a warm temperature in a matter of seconds.

In spite of this, Black Spot is amused at her attempts to harm her.
