Well todays the day. One year ago today I started Lunadoodle with this drawing:

So now I have some news that a lot of people probably arent going to like. Ive been planning this for over 150 days now, and Im sure of it at this point. Ill cut to the chase.

From now on, Lunadoodle will no longer be a Daily blog.

Yep, thats right.

Ive been doing this for a year now, Ive only missed a couple days when some pretty serious things happened in my RL that prevented me. But after a year of drawing the same character every day, no matter how much I love Luna, I need to move on to other things.

What other things, you might be wondering? Well I have a lot of projects and Im going through a part of my life where a lot of things are about to change in very big ways. In two months Im going to move to a new city and start a new life. I need to focus my energy on things that will help me move forward in that life and my career, and unfortunately Lunadoodle has become more of a burden than anything.

However, I will not end Lunadoodle. Ill still make posts every now and then, but it wont be daily. The obligation has caused me to burn out. But rest assured, Im still a big Luna fan and I dont plan on stopping drawing her any time soon.

So I want to thank everyone whos followed Lunadoodle in this year. Weve almost reached 6,000 followers! Wow! I also want to thank everyone whos made a Lunadoodle post. There have been so many of you!

Thank you all for following and contributing to Lunadoodle in this last year! Its been a wonderful experience and Ive loved it all along, but I need to move to other projects in my life. Dont unfollow though, as Ill still post here sometimes!
